Hi Breonn, what principle do you value most?
“Authenticity. I value that in art and in people. I believe this goes alongside having integrity in everything that you do. Being unapologetically yourself in the world and in your art is brave. I think it’s amazing how you can take what’s inside of you, put it out into the world, and say “Hey, this is me. This is what I made- with it’s perfections and imperfections; this is a piece of me” and people will dig it. People will support you, people will appreciate your work, and so on. Just by you being true to yourself within your craft. That’s so magical to me, because it’s real, it’s honest, and allows you to genuinely connect with other human beings.”
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have a sharp eye for aesthetics. I try to make the vibrant colors in my shoots cohesive and telling- they set the mood of the picture. I’m really excited to expand my workspace and my skillset. I really want to implement more abstract concepts into my themed shoots, and push the envelope even more. I’m most proud of what I can get done with what I have, I feel like that’s what makes the finished product more rewarding. I got to where I am now by maintaining momentum with planning and executing shoots, and reflecting on ways to be better. I started in my garage about four years ago with some props from the dollar store and was able to shoot some dope images. From then I’ve been consistent, and finally I’ve turned it into a business! And here I am now! Along the way I’ve learned more about perseverance and not being so quick to call a set of pictures a bad shoot. Perfectionism can be the enemy sometimes. If there’s anything that I want the world to know about me, it’s that I am here to turn imagination into product. I want myself and my clients to take whatever we see ourselves as in our heads, and manifest it into something we can see with our eyes. I am a visionary, and I’m ready to share with the world.
